Eight Gallery xin trân trọng giới thiệu triển lãm cá nhân ‘Nguyễn Xuân Việt: Người giữ lửa cho sơn mài.’ Là một cái tên không hề xa lạ trong giới hội họa Việt Nam nhiều thập kỷ nay, Nguyễn Xuân Việt đã dành tình yêu mãnh liệt, cống hiến cuộc đời và năng lượng sáng tạo cho sự nghiệp vẽ sơn mài, như một người giữ lửa cho chất liệu đòi hỏi nhiều sự kiên nhẫn và tỉ mỉ này. Những tác phẩm của ông thường xoay quanh chủ đề thiên nhiên (đặc biệt là hoa sen), chân dung tượng của các ngôi đền cổ, và trừu tượng. Ngoài điểm nhấn là các tác phẩm sơn mài, triển lãm sẽ bao gồm thêm những tác phẩm sơn dầu khác của họa sĩ.

Eight Gallery is excited to introduce the solo exhibition ‘Nguyen Xuan Viet: Keeper of the flame for lacquer painting.’ Widely known among the Vietnamese art community for decades, Nguyen Xuan Viet has dedicated his whole life and creative energy for lacquer painting, like a flame keeper for the material that requires a great deal of patience and meticulousness. His works revolve around the themes of nature (especially lotus), portraits of statues from ancient temples, and abstraction. Other than some significant lacquer works, the exhibition will also showcase his other oil paintings.

• Opening hours: 10:00 - 12:00 và 14:00 - 17:00 (nhận khách cuối vào 16:30)
• Admission to the gallery is free of charge, only with guests with prior appointment.
